Licensed by the Australian Football League, the code’s governing body, the coin features an exciting reverse design incorporating the official Australian Football 150 Years logo.
Reverse Design
As well as the logo, the reverse depicts four players in a high marking contest, the inscription AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL 1858–2008 and the Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Australian Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
